About the Journal

Revista Derecho y Cambio Social is a technical-scientific journal dedicated to scientific communication and the dissemination of relevant work in the fields of Law and Social Sciences. It is published quarterly and has established itself as a highly relevant publication for over 20 years, promoting scientific knowledge from an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspective.

Founded in 2000 by Peruvian professor Dr. Pedro Donaires Sánchez, this publication was created in the classrooms of the Faculty of Law at the National University of Cajamarca, Peru, to disseminate the outcomes of legal and social research. At the time, it was sponsored and edited by the Círculo de Estudios Ius Filosóficos UNIDAD, based in Lima, Peru.

The initiative was supported by the university authorities of Peru, who, through Resolution No. 025-00-FDCS-UNC of the Teaching Council, dated September 29, 2000, granted institutional recognition, highlighting that, thanks to this journal, university legal work entered the field of virtual communication with access to the entire world.

On May 23, 2004, a date that marks the journal's anniversary, it underwent a major overhaul, adopting its current name, Revista Derecho y Cambio Social. Since 2023, the journal’s Executive Direction has been led by Brazilian professor Diogo Ramos, who has committed to investing in the expansion of knowledge and the development of science in Latin America, the United States, Africa, Europe, and worldwide.

As of August 2024, it has been edited by Editoriales Iberoamericanos Ltda. (Brazil), always maintaining its high quality in its processes.
